All About Our Process

Consultation
During the initial site visit, we will come to your home and discuss what you envision. Our visit includes discussing the feasibility and outlining our full service process. Our goal is to define the scope and objectives of your project, collaborating to establish a suitable budget that aligns with your wants!
Once the project and budget are defined, we will provide you with a comprehensive Production Development Agreement. This contract will outline the various stages and steps involved in creating a comprehensive construction contract with a detailed scope of work based off our concept drawings and finishes.
Conceptualize
After the Project Development Agreement is signed, we conduct a comprehensive site measure with our team. Your project interior designer will also be on site to discuss your wants.
Additionally, we create conceptual drawings aimed at guiding you through design selections. We meticulously fine-tune the concept finish and fixture specifications to perfectly match your specific vision. Throughout this process, we are attentive to redefining the budget and scope as needed. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every aspect of the project aligns seamlessly with your desired outcome.

Collaboration
Once you select a concept and the finishes for your home, ABD goes to work with our trusted trade partners. We conduct another site visit where we bring out important trade partners to get an eye on your home. This is where they go through the scope we have created and give us real numbers so that you can rely on your fixed price contract.
We solidify our commitment to collaboration with the detailed fixed price contract. It outlines project elements, schedules, and terms, ensuring transparency and clear expectations for a smooth construction process.
Construction
In the next steps of the process, our ABD team maintains ongoing collaboration. Your ABD team will be busy getting final construction drawings and engineering completed, as well as any energy reports that need to be submitted to the proper permitting jurisdiction. Long lead time items will start to be ordered so once we start on your project those items are ready to go in!
Once we get closer to your start date you will have an on-site meeting introducing you to your ABD Project Manager. Your dedicated project manager takes charge of communication, providing you with schedules, outlining project phases, and addressing any questions you may have. Additionally, the project manager personally oversees all trade partners and vendors to ensure the utmost respect and protection of your home throughout the construction process.

Completion
In the final step of the process, we conduct a formal walk-through with you to address any concerns or questions you may have. Following the walk-through, we may have a short punch list of items that need attention but the space is usable for its intended use. We then initiate a warranty period, providing you with peace of mind and support for any potential issues that may arise.
We believe in maintaining a strong relationship with our clients and being readily available to assist with any further needs or inquiries you may have. Our commitment to you and your project extends beyond the completion.
